What is the Invisalign® process?
Your Invisalign® treatment starts with a consultation with Dr. K. Together, a customized digital treatment plan is designed that shows how your smile will be progressively transformed.
You’ll come back to our office after the aligners are created. Once treatment starts, you will change to the next aligner in the series about every two weeks. The aligner trays must be worn for a minimum of 20 hours a day to get the best results. They can be removed temporarily to eat, brush, and floss your teeth.
When your teeth have reached their ideal position, your treatment with the Invisalign® trays will be completed.

How long does treatment with Invisalign® take?
Treatment length can vary, but generally, the process is completed in about 12 to 18 months (about half the time of treatment with metal braces). Variables that can affect treatment time include the complexity of your case and how diligent you are about wearing your aligners.

How much does Invisalign® cost?
Generally, treatment with Invisalign® costs about the same as treatment with traditional braces. Before your treatment begins, Dr. K will be able to give you an estimate of the projected cost.

Will I need to wear a retainer after my treatment is finished?
A retainer prevents teeth from shifting back to their old position. To ensure your teeth remain straight, we recommended wearing a retainer at night while you sleep.
After completion of your Invisalign® treatment, we will provide Vivera retainers to help maintain your new beautiful smile.
